Nutrigenomics or Nutrition and Genetics is the study of the molecular relationships between nutrition and an individuals genes for the purpose of affecting human health.

Still considered a “new science” Nutrigenomics utilizes the high-throughput genomic tools in nutrition research. In simple terms this means researchers can enable millions of genetic screening tests to be conducted at the same time. This in turn allows them to examine how nutrients affect the thousands of genes that make up the human genome.

There have been substantial advances in the development of Nutrigenomics due to the powerful developments in genetic research. Personalized nutrition products will greatly decrease chronic disease. We know improper diets create risk for diseases. Genome structure is altered by dietary supplements. Our genetic makeup influences our health based on our diets.

We are about to get healthier and reduce our need for medical care which will save people thousands of dollars.

The future is now and these things will be available to the public in August of 2008. This means you will be able to purchase a custom designed, specifically for you, nutritional supplement tailored to your genetic makeup. No more one size fits all nutrition.

Genelink, a leading biosciences company specializing in consumer Genomics, is leading the industry in research and development as well as bringing the product to market. GeneLink’s health aging DNA assessment looks for variations in 12 key genes that are very important to our body’s overall health.

Our genes behave in a particular way and Genelink’s DNA assessment looks for how our genes behave according to:
*Oxidative Stress
*Environmental challenges
*Cardiovascular health
*Immune health
*Neurological health
*Eye/vision health
*Bone health.

Nutrigenomics is groundbreaking technology that is over 10 years in the making. Genelink has been using Nutrigenomics and a DNA designed nutritional system to assess people’s genes and build a personalized nutritional supplement specifically designed for them.

A simple cheek swab is taken from an individual, which is then mailed in to the company for a complete DNA assessment. This DNA assessment allows for customized products, to be designed specifically for what the customer’s body needs. The products are then mailed to the customer to take in pill form or added to liquid.

Since mapping the human genome, researchers have been able to put the puzzle pieces together about our health and why we get sick. Nutrigenomics and individualized nutrition is going to improve the health and wellness of millions of people. What better thing can you think of to be a part of?

Since when is telling the truth become such an awful thing?
They have been accused of spreading lies but no one has been able to prove it…and you know it is not from lack of trying.
FOX News is doing what they are supposed to do…investigating the people that Obama has surrounded himself with and investigating Obama…why is that a bad thing?
Why is it so difficult for some people to understand this? Calling someone a liar is different than proving someone is a liar.

Drudge Report Parodies – Fox News

Drudge Report Parodies – Fox News

Folk talk about undying design all of the time. But most things people point to that are undying finish up being time stamped. The Drudge Report, on the other hand, has proven timeless. It’s universal list of links, black and white monospaced font, and ALL CAPS headlines have survived each trend, each fad, each movement, each era, each design do or do not. It does not seem old and it does not look new it looks Drudge. It has not modified since at least 1997, and I suspect the design goes back farther. How many sites can survive and prosper unvaried for a decade? That’s's special.

The Drudge Report was described by Cheryl Woodard, co-founder of PC, Macworld, PC World and Publish mags, as “a huge, haphazard mishmash of links and photos” and by Dan Rahmel as “popular regardless of a plain appearance”. The Report website is simple and, according to Paul Armstrong of webwithoutwords.com, retro in feel. Jason Fried of 37signals.com calls it “one of the best designed sites on the web.” It is composed of a banner headline and a number of other selected headlines in 3 columns in monospaced font. Most link to an exterior source, often the net version of a paper, which hosts the tale. When no such source is available, either because the story is ‘developing’ with obscure details at the moment or is an exclusive scoop, a special page is formed on the Drudge Report servers which contain text and probably photographs.

I’m in agreement with your evaluation of his site. I check it daily ( have since 97 ), and I often think, wow this site is so plain and boring, however that’s's also why it’s so effective. It leads to a great worked example on style vs function. I always prefer both, but sometimes style actually can get in the way. In this case, Drudge is extremely functional, and I am in possession of a feeling that only a few other styles could result in the same value and uniqueness he has now.
